  1. JTQuestion ONE

You talked about faithfulness in the PowerBreak blog… so how does a person work on being faithful spiritually?

Or what is the spiritual connection?

  1. Bob

Matthew 25:23 (ESV) — 23 His master said to him, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant. You have been faithful over a little; I will set you over much. Enter into the joy of your master.’

1 Corinthians 4:2 (ESV) — 2 Moreover, it is required of stewards that they be found faithful.

James 5:12 (ESV) — 12 But above all, my brothers, do not swear, either by heaven or by earth or by any other oath, but let your “yes” be yes and your “no” be no, so that you may not fall under condemnation.

Luke 16:10 (ESV) — 10 “One who is faithful in a very little is also faithful in much, and one who is dishonest in a very little is also dishonest in much.

VOWS…

Ecclesiastes 5:4 (ESV) — 4 When you vow a vow to God, do not delay paying it, for he has no pleasure in fools. Pay what you vow.

CONCLUSION –

Proverbs 20:6 (ESV) — 6 Many a man proclaims his own steadfast love, but a faithful man who can find?

  1. (JT) The next question is from a mental standpoint…
  • Where do we begin on a journey of developing faithfulness…

  1. (Bob)

Luke 16:10 (ESV) — 10 “One who is faithful in a very little is also faithful in much, and one who is dishonest in a very little is also dishonest in much.

  • Be on time

Don’t neglect your duties…

Proverbs 25:19 (KJV 1900) — 19 Confidence in an unfaithful man in time of trouble Is like a broken tooth, and a foot out of joint.

  1. (JT) Turning to the physical aspect of life….
  • “I notice the tour de France cyclists are always getting water bottles.. how much water do they drink in a stage of the race?
  1. (BOB) ----
  • NOT ENOUGH… at least 2 to 3 bottles an hour
  • Hydration is very important
  • Doc at Ironman – if you don’t have a plan you won’t drink and if you don’t you will see me early…
