The title above is a running joke between me and my friend Bob Brubaker. Whenever we see something that we think is errant or goofy, we will exclaim jokingly, “What’s the meaning of this!”. When the idea of JTs Corner was hatched, this was the phrase that kept running through my head. The police officer in me started to think, “what’s the mission?”. To be honest, I used to think mission statements were a little hokey. But in reality, a good mission statement will always keep you striving toward what’s important. So, what IS the meaning of JT’s Corner? After much prayer, consultation and reflection, here is the mission:

JTs Corner is a platform to discuss, promote and foster the journey of becoming more like Christ. A place to apply scripture to all aspects of life and learn how to rely on the Holy Spirit to transform the way we think and act. Now that the mission is clear, I pray that you will join me for this journey. I promise not to shy away from tough topics, but I also promise to keep distractions, like politics, out of it. A good soldier for Christ does not get caught up “civilian” matters and I plan on being a good soldier.
